YEREVAN. – Azerbaijan has yet again violated its international commitments, said Tigran Balayan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia.

He noted this commenting—at the request of Armenian News-NEWS.am—on Azerbaijan’s statement with respect to conducting large-scale military exercises.

“This is yet another violation,” Balayan noted. “Major military exercises will be conducted with the involvement of troops.

“In accordance with its international obligations, the Azerbaijani side was obligated to inform [about these drills to] the OSCE countries.”

As reported earlier, Azerbaijan will conduct large-scale operational and tactical military exercises, from September 17 to 22.
