YEREVAN, -- There's no need to react to every single thought, deputy speaker of Armenian National Assembly, member of Tsarukyan fraction Mikayel Melkumyan told reporters on Tuesday.

His remark came in response to Armenian PM's words that some people need not only to be “thrown on the ground”, but even nailed to the wall if need be.

He also mentioned that there’s no need to tie PM’s every speech to elections for the Council of Elders of Yerevan.

Asked whether Prosperous Armenia Party still considers Civil Contract Party as their partner the speaker answered that a competition should not transform into rivalry.

“In a sense we function as part of the Government and there may be some intensity before elections. World does not stop spinning from it”, he said.

The elections for the Council of Elders will take place on Sunday, September 23.
