YEREVAN. – In case of elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan, the Electoral Code does not provide for mandatory publication of the signed lists of voters who participated in the voting, but the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) decided to publish them, chairman CEC Tigran Mukuchyan said.

“The scanning process will begin today from 12 am. This will allow everyone study the lists and, if there are any inaccuracies or false signatures, to submit relevant applications within a specified time,” Mukuchyan said.

“But on the voting day there were numerous reports, because the Analytical Center operated in the CEC. Phone calls were received. But there were no written statements either at CEC or at the territorial electoral commissions,” he added.
