The US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron aren't as chummy as they used to be, AP reported.

The leaders met on Monday in New York on the margins of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.

They shook hands lightly and got down to business, discussing the nuclear deal with Iran, Syrian crisis and trade between the US and the European Union.

Earlier, the AP noted Macron changed his attitude to Trump, and it was reflected in his speech, as he drew particular attention to the priority of the EU interests.
