New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern brought her three-month-old daughter to the United Nations General Assembly, BBC reported. 

The UN General Assembly is taking place from 24 to 27 September in New York. A leaders of 93 states, 41 heads of government and 55 foreign ministers will have a speech within the meeting.

According to her, "it was a very practical decision" to bring the infant on the six-day international trip.

"Neve is actually nearby me most of the time in New Zealand,” she added.

The premier on Monday delivered a speech at the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit within  UN General Assembly. Her partner Clarke Gayford and daughter were also present.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced the birth of her daughter to New Zealand on June, 2018. The 37-year-old has passed on her duties to Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters while she takes six weeks of maternity leave.
