The EU Ambassador to Armenia Piotr Switalski is convinced that European companies thoroughly analyze the possibilities in Armenia, and believes they are very encouraged by the steps taken by the Armenian government.

His remark came at the business forum on Wednesday launched by the EU and Armenia within the Armenia-EU agreement.

“Especially it refers to the Armenian government efforts to eradicate the corruption and ensure fairness,” Switalski added.

According to him, the EU is the largest export market in Armenia, and today the EU wants to trade and support the Armenian government to achieve bilateral success in export and investment.

Switalski noted that the opportunities for joint trade will be discussed during the forum, and Armenia-EU new deal will help to make new investments in Armenia and increase the trade turnover between Armenia and the EU.

"Together we will discuss what should be done to make Armenia more attractive for investments, we are open for different proposals from Armenian businessmen," the envoy added.
