One of the most vulnerable places in the Mac OS is installed applications, said Mac security researcher Thomas Reed.

According to him, when a user only downloads a program, it is checked by the security system. However, after installation, the application goes to the list of scanned ones, and hackers can access it without checking the code signature, since repeated checks are rarely initiated.

Those, countless macOS applications are exposed to burglary, Virus Bulletin reported referring to Reed.

According to him, the developers can eliminate the vulnerability by adding regular re-checks to the code of their applications.
