YEREVAN. – President of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Ara Babloyan, on Tuesday met with a delegation, led by chairman Jacques Chagnon of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, and which is in capital city Yerevan along the lines of the forthcoming 17th Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

First, Babloyan underscored these guests’ visit to Yerevan within the framework of the La Francophonie summit, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, the speaker of the Armenian parliament stressed that both Armenia and the NA have assumed an important part in propagating the values of La Francophonie.

As per the head of Armenia’s legislature, this summit will be the biggest event ever taken place in the country, and it will contribute to the strengthening of Armenia’s relations with the other La Francophonie member countries.

And after the talk, an official dinner on behalf of the Armenian NA President was given in honor of the La Francophonie parliamentarians.
