YEREVAN. – I consider the RPA’s statement yesterday to be reasonable.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday told the above-said to reporters at the National Assembly (NA). He noted this commenting on the statement by the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), and according to which, once the PM resigns, the RPA’s NA faction will not nominate a new PM candidate.

Pashinyan had come to parliament to meet with NA speaker Ara Babloyan and Vahram Baghdasaryan, head of the parliamentary faction of the RPA.

The Premier noted that the objective of his talk Wednesday with Baghdasaryan is to resolve the situation under complete calm and tranquility.

“After yesterday’s announcement of the Republicans, I deemed it necessary to come [to parliament],” he said, in particular.

Nikol Pashinyan added that he will meet also with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party.
