YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, along with his wife Anna Hakobyan, on Thursday is welcoming the heads of delegations participating in the 17th Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), in Yerevan (PHOTOS).

OIF Secretary-General Michaëlle Jean also is greeting the guests, together with the PM.

The summit will last two days, and delegations from more than 80 countries have arrived in Armenia’s capital city to attend this event.

French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are among the world leaders to participate in this summit.

Several documents will be adopted within the framework of this high-level meeting. The key one from among them is the Yerevan Declaration: Living Together; and six resolutions, one of which is about conflict resolution.

Also during this event, the venue for the next summit will be determined, and the next OIF Secretary-General will be elected.
