YEREVAN. – The entire world of La Francophonie mourns for Charles Aznavour.

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday noted the aforementioned in his address at the 17th Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie, in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

“Aznavour, whom I love infinitely,” Trudeau said. “We all have come together to honor the memory of the great chansonnier; the entire world of La Francophonie.

“Aznavour was seeing all the nuances of our culture, and I see that the same spirit reigns here.”

Legendary French Armenian artist Charles Aznavour passed away on October 1, aged 94.
