A Singapore Airlines plane is launching the world's longest direct commercial flight from Singapore to New York on Thursday.

The Airbus A350-900ULR will travel 9,000 nautical miles (9,537 miles) in 18 hours and 25 minutes, CNCB reported.

The cabin is being divided into 67 business-class seats and 94 premium economy.

Premium economy seats could be purchased on the airline’s website for $2,155.

The company already operated a similar flight in 2004, but in 2013 canceled it for too high a price.
