Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Friday met with President Alain Berset of Switzerland.

They conferred on bilateral cooperation. In particular, the interlocutors underscored the deepening and expanding of economic ties—including the implementation of joint investment programs.

Pashinyan noted that Armenia’s economic cooperation with Switzerland is focused on the mining industry, and said the Armenian government is interested in diversifying its collaboration and developing its relations with Switzerland in various domains.

Also, the PM highlighted the exchange of knowhow with Switzerland in the holding of community referendums.
