Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Friday met with President Kersti Kaljulaid of Estonia.

They discussed the prospects for the deepening of relations between the two countries. In particular, the PM pointed to the development of partnership and exchange of knowhow in the IT sector.

In Pashinyan’s words, the Armenian government is carrying out activities to continually introduce digital technologies and electronic systems in the country’s governance, and the study of Estonia’s respective track-record may be useful.

Kaljulaid, for her part, noted that Estonia underscores the expansion of cooperation with Armenia in domains of mutual interest, and stands ready to work actively to this end.

The interlocutors exchanged views also on Armenia-European Union cooperation, and the development of democracy.
