YEREVAN. – The “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of Armenia on Monday recorded a magnitude-2.5 earthquake in the country, at 7:59am local time.

The seismic activity occurred 9km northeast of Kajaran town, its hypocenter was 10km beneath the surface, and it measured magnitude 3 at the epicenter.

According to preliminary information, the tremor was felt in Lernadzor village of Syunik Province, with magnitude 2 to 3.
