Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan believes that holding of the early parliamentary elections in the country may lead to the establishment of a political monopoly.

“In tactical terms, this is a clear line of behavior in order to achieve success now, at the peak of popularity. In strategic terms, I see problems, that is, as a politician you win, but as a statesman, you still need to think about whether it was worth doing it now, ”Kocharyan said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He also questioned whether a worthy parliament will be elected under the conditions of euphoria.

According to the ex-president, this “will be a one-sided parliament, a new political monopoly.”
