The Armenian wine and brandy particularly impressed our guests during the La Francophonie Summit, which was good news for me.

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the abovementioned at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the Government of Armenia.

In his words, the leaders of countries that are considered world leaders in winemaking also were in attendance to this summit, which was convened recently in capital city Yerevan.

“In particular, it was very pleasing for me that the president of France and the first lady of France deemed necessary to speak of the quality of Armenian wine and brandy,” Pashinyan added. “Our wines and brandies have made a good impression, which means that we have been able to reach a certain international standard for wine and brandy production.”
