YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan disagrees that the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) peace talks are “frozen,” at present.

Speaking with reporters on Thursday, he asked them, “How are they frozen? What about our [respective] meetings?” and added, “There were so many developments within five months; [and] you say they are frozen.”

Mnatsakanyan argued that this is a process.

“We met twice with my colleague, the minister of foreign affairs of Azerbaijan,” the acting FM noted. “The [now Acting] Prime Minister [of Armenia] has had a meeting with the president of Azerbaijan; this is a process.”
