Armenia’s Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday received South Korean ambassador Woo Yoon Geun.

Pashinyan stressed that Armenian government looks toward drawing investments from and implementing joint programs with South Korea. In his words, Armenia has unilaterally lifted visa requirements for South Korean citizens, and he expressed the hope that this will contribute to having closer ties and increasing tourist flow between the two countries.

Ambassador Woo, in turn, highlighted that his country’s government stands ready to share its track-record in economic policy with its Armenian colleagues, and added that they too look toward the development of bilateral economic cooperation.

The interlocutors exchanged views also on the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict.

And the South Korean diplomat thanked Nikol Pashinyan for his support toward the pacific resolution of the problems between the two Koreas.
