The new Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is likely to be the Belarussian representative, said Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev after the CSTO extended meeting in Astana on Thursday.

“In line with the charter, Belarus goes next, in alphabetic order,” Nursultan Nazarbayev noted.

According to him, the final decision will be made on December 6 in St. Petersburg, Spuntik-Kazakhstan reported.
