Russian armed forces and border guards play an important role in ensuring security of Armenia, Armenia's acting Defense Minister told reporters on Monday.

Aksed, what he thinks about to the statement of the newly created Sasna Tsrer party about the need to remove the border guards, the minister refused to comment on opinion of political party, but he stressed the importance of the presence of Russian border guards.
