YEREVAN. – The inflation rate in 2018 was 1.8 percent in Armenia, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has noted.

“Despite the predictions that 3-, even 3.5- to 4-percent inflation will be recorded in 2018, the inflation in 2018 made up 1.8 percent,” he wrote on Facebook. “Of course, the demeanor of the inflation was truly worrisome for a moment. But the government and the CB [Central Bank] were able to achieve the curbing of the inflation.”
