YEREVAN. – A woman in Armenia on Friday fell from a height and died on the spot.

At 5:45pm, the police received a report that a theft had been committed in Armavir town.

The police officers who arrived at the scene found the dead body of a 59-year-old woman on the premises of a former bread factory in Armavir, the police informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

It was found out that this woman and her 25-year-old daughter had entered the non-operating pasta production department of this factory to commit theft, but she had fallen from about five meters and died from a head injury.

Her daughter gave an account of what had occurred.  

A report is being prepared on the incident.
