WASHINGTON, D.C. – Newly appointed Armenian Ambassador Varuzhan Nersesyan presented his credentials to US President Donald Trump, the Embassy of Armenia in the United States informed.

Greeting President Trump on behalf of the President, Prime Minister and people of Armenia, Ambassador Nersesyan noted that it is a great honor and accountability for him to represent Armenia in the US during this important period.

At their brief talk during the ceremony of handing credentials, President Trump and Ambassador Nersesyan underscored the steps toward expanding bilateral relations.

Also, they stressed the American Armenian community’s part in the development of friendship between the two countries.
