Moscow hopes to contribute to the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters on Wednesday.

“Armenia changed the leadership last year, thus, when it comes to our contribution to the work of the co-chairs on Karabakh settlement, it confined itself to familiarizing contacts,” the minister said.

According to him, statements made by Baku, expressing its readiness to look for solutions, deserve full support.

“We hope that Armenian friends will be reciprocated," the FM noted.
