YEREVAN. – Car importers will pay a 1.5% income tax instead of 20%, Armenian Prime Minster’s aide Nairi Sargsyan told reporters on Thursday.

Touching upon protests actions near the building of the Armenian Government, he noted the issue had been resolved. 

“The final decision will be made soon, and will be submitted to the National Assembly,” he added. According to him, the decision on 1.5% tax will apply to cars imported after July 1, 2018.
