The Russian IC dismissed the reports on ISIS responsibility for deadly blast in Magnitogorsk, Reuters reported.

The claim was made earlier in the number of media and said ISIS militants had been behind the deadly explosion in the city of Magnitogorsk on December 31.

According to Russian Investigative Committee’s statement, the investigation continues while the investigation considers all possible causes of the blast.

Their primary theory was that a gas leak, the statement said.

As reported earlier, an apartment block collapsed in Magnitogorsk on December 31. The incident claimed the lives of 39 people. Six people were injured, five of them, including two children, are in hospitals.
