YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on Monday addressed at a conference devoted to infrastructure development as a new format of state-community cooperation.

Representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) also were in attendance to this event.

In his remarks, Pashinyan reflected on the Armenian government’s priorities in territorial administration and development.

In particular, the PM noted that the guarantee for sustainable development in Armenia is the social and economic development of its communities.

Also, Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the precepts for the activities of community leaders as government officials, and stressed that public service should not be viewed as a business activity.
