Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has delivered an address during a reception on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution in Iran.

In his remarks, the FM noted, in particular, that although today’s Armenia-Iran state ties are just an instant in the age-old relations between the two peoples, for Armenia—which has reestablished its independence—they depict a key phase of confirmation and establishment, and where Iran has been the irreplaceable companion of Armenia.
