YEREVAN. – The public should know that there is about 8 to 10.5 billion drams [approx. $16,480,000 to $21,630,000] of debt in the water system, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at Friday’s Cabinet meeting of the Government of Armenia.

“We need to figure out how that debt came about,” he added, in particular. “[But] we have a theory that major corruption schemes have operated [in this connection].”

Pashinyan instructed the government to very comprehensively deal with this matter.
