YEREVAN. – A criminal case has been filed in connection with the stabbing of a Russian soldier in Gyumri. 

Naira Harutyunyan, head of the Information and Public Relations Division of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, told about the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The criminal case was initiated under the Criminal Code article on deliberately causing severe damage to health.

Several forensic examinations have been ordered. 

An investigation is underway, and the person who committed this crime is sought.

As reported earlier, a servicemen of the 102nd Russian Military Base in Gyumri was stabbed early Friday during an argument that had turned into brawl.
