On 15 March, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan will have a closed meeting with members of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly. This is what head of the Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan told journalists at the National Assembly on 14 March.

According to him, if there is a desire for the conversation to be open and unconstrained, it is important to discuss subtle issues under a closed regime. “Parliamentary hearings are a different kind of tool. We might hold hearings someday. However, every tool needs to be used for a purpose. I have always been against imitation,” he said.
