Chinese President Xi Jinping is “afraid” of meeting with the US President Donald Trump before concluding a trade deal, said the head of the White House Economic Council Larry Kudlow.

According to Larry Kudlow, director of the White House’s National Economic Council, Xi Jinping wants everything agreed to before meeting with Trump because “he’s afraid Trump might not like it and walk away,” AP reported.

Trump is expected to meet with Xi Jinping in April.
