New Zealand police cordoned off the hospital in Hastings amid possible threats, Daily Mail reported. 

Eastern District Police tweeted: “Police are in attendance at the hospital in Hastings. As a precaution, we ask that the public avoids the area for the time being.”

As reported earlier, the attack at two mosques in Christchurch has killed 50 people.

Brenton Tarrant, a 28-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with murder. He appeared in court earlier Saturday.
