YEREVAN. – A truck was burned down nearby Armenia’s Bagratashen customs checkpoint, at the border with Georgia.

News service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-News.am that, on Saturday at 8:55pm, the 911 emergency hotline received a report that a truck was on fire in Bagratashen village in Tavush Province, nearby the aforementioned customs checkpoint.

Two fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was extinguished on Sunday at 2:10am.

But the truck and its cargo—14.5 tons of pantyhose, and 300 meters of communication wire—were destroyed by the fire.
