During its March 21 session, the government touched upon the issue of cutting the days following non-working days, particularly the days after New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan stated that it was necessary to discuss the matter.

In his turn, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the following: “This is a rather old idea, and I think there is a need to hold a discussion and understand what has to be done within the scope of that logic. This is an issue that needs to be discussed not only at the level of government, but also with the public so that we have a solution that is based on consensus or a solution that is close to being a solution based on consensus.”
