The Police of Armenia are preparing a report on the death threats that were made against Minister of Justice Artak Zeynalyan.

According to shamshyan.com, at a briefing with reporters on Tuesday, Zeynalyan was asked questions also about Azerbaijani citizen Elvin Ibragimov, who is detained on suspicion of illegally crossing the Armenian state border, and the minister responded to these queries, too.

Subsequently, Zeynalyan’s interview was posted on Facebook, whereupon Tavush Province resident Khoren A., 35, sent comments to the minister, made death threats against him, and threatened to use violence against the minister—as a representative of the government—in connection with carrying out his official duties.

Noyemberyan town police on Friday were seeking Khoren A. until the afternoon.
