The US, together with its allies, liberated the 100 percent of the territories of Syria and Iraq from the "Islamic State", US President Donald Trump noted, Reuters reported.

He added that from time to time these villains will show themselves, but they have lost all prestige and power, and the United States will “remain vigilant and fight until the IS is finally defeated.”

On March 22, a representative of the White House recalled that the IS no longer controls the territory in Syria. In early February, Trump gave his generals the "green light" for the final destruction of militants in Iraq.

According to the UN, the IS still has financial reserves in the amount of 50 to 300 million dollars and ovet 14 to 18 thousand militants, of which three thousand are foreigners.
