YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia is discussing $3.1bn worth projects with investors.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday noted the aforementioned at the National Assembly, as he presented the 2018 activity report of the government.

He assured that exceptionally good relations have been established with the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, European Union and donor organizations, and said this gives hope that there will be a completely new investment climate in Armenia. 

“[A total of] 89 investment projects—with a total amount of $3.1 billion—are at discussion phase with the government,” Pashinyan stressed. “Of these, 49 projects worth $765 million have already been assessed as realistic; and they are at a phase of implementation.”

The PM added that several more projects, and totaling $2,337,000,000, were at the phase of discussions.
