OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Harlem Désir condemned the ban on foreign travel imposed in Azerbaijan against the blogger and chair of the Institute for Reporters Freedom and Safety Mehman Huseynov.
According to the source, Huseynov was invited by his Office to safety of journalists conference in Vienna.

As reported earlier, Huseynov was not released on April 9 from the country when he was about to depart for Berlin to participate in a number of international events in the German capital, Strasbourg and Vienna.
Mehman Huseynov was released on March 2 after two years in prisons. He was recognized as a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International.
