Representatives of the Scientific-Technological Center of Organic and Pharmacological Chemistry are discontent with the Armenian government’s decision to grant the building of the Center to AZAD Pharmaceuticals. This is what Director of the Scientific-Technological Center of Organic and Pharmacological Chemistry Vigen Topuzyan said during an April 17 press conference, stating that the Center has invested funds and carried out activities and now the Center will be granted to another company.

“We perform the government’s duty, but it tells us to stop and leave. This is odd. Perhaps the government isn’t aware of certain delicacies,” Topuzyan said.

According to him, even if they move, this will take time since only laboratory workers can move the chemical substances.

Vigen Topuzyan said they have narrowed the area of the laboratory several times and don’t want to find themselves in a that situation again. “We don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow. We’re afraid of launching a new project,” Topuzyan concluded.
