YEREVAN. – The National Assembly of Armenia on Thursday approved, in the first reading, the package of bills on making amendments and addenda to the law on the structure and activities of the country’s government.

A total of 71 MPs voted in favor of the proposed package, whereas 40 others—against, the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter informed from parliament.

Solely the lawmakers from the majority—and ruling—My Step faction voted for, whereas the deputies of the opposition Prosperous Armenia Party and Bright Armenia factions—against the package of bills.
