YEREVAN. – The parliamentarians on Thursday debated and, subsequently, voted on the draft decision which the  opposition Bright Armenia faction had introduced, and which proposed the resignation of Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan.

The draft decision was supported by the opposition Prosperous Armenia faction, too.

But ultimately, this initiative of the parliamentary opposition was not approved by the parliamentary majority—and ruling—My Step faction. A total of 41 MPs voted for this draft decision, whereas 67 others—against it.
