North Korean authorities have demanded to withdraw US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo from participating in the talks on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, Daily Mail reported.

“I am afraid that, if Pompeo engages in the talks again, the table will be lousy once again and the talks will become entangled. Therefore, even in the case of possible resumption of the dialogue with the U.S., I wish our dialogue counterpart would be not Pompeo but... (another) person who is more careful and mature in communicating with us. We cannot be aware of Pompeo's ulterior motive behind his self-indulgence in reckless remarks; whether he is indeed unable to understand words properly or just pretending on purpose,” said Kwon Jong Gun, an official at the North's foreign ministry.

Secretary of State Pompeo was the delegation of US member at the summit of the US and North Korea on February 27-28 in Hanoi, following which the parties failed to come to an agreement. After several meetings, including one-on-one, the leaders of the countries Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un did not sign the joint document.
