The number of victims and injured during the dispersal of rallies on March 1-2, 2008 in Yerevan is clearly define, said Armenian Parliament Vice Speaker Lena Nazaryan on Monday in the Armenian Parliament.

Her remarks came during the discussion of the draft law on the payment of compensation to citizens affected by the events of March 1-2, 2008 in Yerevan.

A total of 63 people were seriously and moderately injured on March 1 tragedy, she said referring to the Armenian Special Investigative Service.

According to the submitted draft law, it is proposed to provide compensation to the families of victims of March 1-2 rallies. However, compensation will be received not only by the relatives of the victims, but also by citizens who received severe and moderate injuries.
