A section of a bridge has plunged into a river in China, sending two vehicles into the water and leaving two people missing., AP reported. 

The local police reported that the 120-meter section of the bridge collapsed on Friday morning.

According to Xinhua, the police managed to save a 44-year-old man, but another 2 people are missing.

The bridge spans the Dongjiang river in Guangdong province.

The investigation has been launched as a result of an accident.
