Eighteen people have been hospitalized after a road accident Saturday in Armenia.

A road accident occurred at 1pm, on the Dilijan-Goshavank motorway, Armenian News-NEWS.am learned from the news service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Two fire and rescue squads were dispatched to the scene. 

And shamshyan.com reported that a midibus had gone off road on the Dilijan-Chambarak motorway—in the administrative territory of Gosh village, crashed into concrete columns, moved forward, and fell into a small gorge.

Eighteen people were transferred to Dilijan town hospital for medical assistance.

According to the source, there were more than 25 passengers on the vehicle, and they were from the staff of the kindergarten of Garni village.

They were on their way to Goshavank.
