Today I’m going live to make an important announcement. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan announced live on Facebook.

“It has already been a long time since we have been planning to definitely have a meeting in Los Angeles, one of the most Armenian-populated cities in the world. Many of our compatriots are looking forward to my visit to Los Angeles. When I visited New York last year, I wasn’t able to visit Los Angeles due to my busy schedule and certain circumstances, but this year, our anticipated meeting will take place on September 22 (4 p.m.) at Grand Park in Los Angeles. I am inviting all of our compatriots of Los Angeles and nearby cities who are in the mood and have time for and are interested in this meeting,” he stated.

The Prime Minister hoped to discuss the agenda that he discussed during his speech in Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. “I hope we discuss the agenda that we touched upon during the rally in Stepanakert. I hope we have a good, cordial and powerful meeting in Los Angeles. Some Armenians refer to Los Angeles as the capital of the Armenian Diaspora, and they are right.

I would like to stress once again that Los Angeles was one of the major centers for support to the non-violent and velvet revolution that took place in Armenia. I highly appreciate the support that the Armenians of Los Angeles provided. I believe this is a very important meeting, as well as an anticipated meeting, at least for me. I hope this is an anticipated meeting for the Armenians of Los Angeles and the nearby cities as well.”
