YEREVAN. – By the joint decision of the governments of Armenia and Russian, the new humanitarian aid provided by the Russian-Armenian Humanitarian Response Center was sent to Syria. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informed this to Armenian News-NEWS.am  

The aid was sent by the means of the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Response Center.

This humanitarian aid is intended for Syria’s population who has suffered as a result of the military conflict in this country.

The Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia, Feliks Tsolakyan, sent the 9-truck-load of humanitarian aid to Syria.

It includes 52.5 tons of canned meat, 35 tons of canned fish, 40 tons of sugar, and about 14.5 tons of standard ration.

Representatives of the Armenian and Russian sides will deliver this humanitarian aid to the representation of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, through which the further distribution of this aid shall be carried out.
