Iran has brought the stocks of low enriched uranium to 370 kilograms, Iranian Atomic Energy Organization (OAEI) representative Behrouz Kamalvandi told IRNA.

According to him, there are good production rates now and reserves have exceeded 300 kilograms by at least 60 up to 70 kilograms.

UK, Germany, China, Russia, the US, France, and Iran announced the achievement of Iranian nuclear deal in 2015. The agreement provided for the lifting of sanctions in exchange for limiting Iran’s nuclear program.

Iran announced on May 8 that it had ceased to implement a number of Iranian deal clauses as the US withdrew from the deal in 2018. Iran has exceeded the ceiling of low enriched uranium reserves of 300 kilograms. Subsequently, the authorities in Tehran announced the second stage of reducing the obligations of the nuclear deal due to the fact that the deal’s member states were unable to fulfill Tehran’s requirements within 60 days. Iran has already increased the level of uranium enrichment to 4.5% (the nuclear deal set a limit of 3.67%).

Iran also noted that they would proceed to the third stage of reduction of obligations 60 days after July 7 if the member states of the nuclear deal did not ensure Iran’s interests in the face of US economic terrorism. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif noted that all the steps taken by Iran are reversible.
